Parent’s 8secondz Safety Guide
Hello parents! You’re on 8secondz. We invite you to cultivate and foster a positive and healthy
active role in your teen’s life on the Internet. 8secondz is all about providing a platform that
encourages your teens to participate in healthy competition. We value the expertise of living
legends across multiple genres and each month we hand select world class legends to create
competitions based on a wide variety of skill sets that your teen is developing an interest in
today and for a positive future. Our living legends judge 8-second video entries and hand select
two winners, or as we like to call them Heroes, and coach/mentor the Heroes for 30-mintues - a
once-in-a-life-time-experience. We believe that mentoring is vital and healthy for a teenager’s
growth, just like teaching your teen about Internet safety, online privacy, and the options
available to them.
